Flashlights have been around for a long time. There was a time when they were of medium size, weren’t very bright, and required at least three D-size batteries. Flashlights today come in many different sizes and function in a variety of ways. Not only does it light up an area or pathway, but it can also be a source of protection. We live in a society now where people don’t lock themselves in their homes when the sun goes down. They walk their dogs at night, exercise, cycle. Life can be as active at night as it is during the day. Unfortunately, we are not as safe when we’re outside as we used to be. For instance, you head outside to walk the dog before going to bed. This stun flashlight uses batteries like a traditional one but ours includes rechargeable batteries. It is recommended to charge the unit for 4 to 6 hours before first use. If the flashlight becomes dim or the electrical stun grows weaker, then it’s time to recharge. If it’s not being used, it’s recommended to recharge every 60 days for optimum functionality.

The flashlight has four different modes: High, Medium, Strobe, and SOS. The Power/Mode button allows you to always be in control of your stungun. You will want to test periodically to make sure it’s in good working order. To test it, press the Power On/Off Push Button Tail Switch to power on the unit. Fully press the Power/Mode Button until the Stun Warning Light turns orange or red. Press the Stun Activation Button to test-fire the unit. Do not hold down the button for more than 1 second. You will see and hear a charge fire across the top of the unit between the Contact Prongs.

All of the effects are temporary and don’t cause any permanent harm, but they will allow you enough time to escape from your attacker.
